MESH Truss Support Tape

XL's Mesh Truss Support Tape is made from the same reinforced fibers as regular tape and has no stretch. It is meshed to allow moisture and air through the holes.

Quick Release Tape

XL's Quick Release Tape does two things. Firstly it allows you to quickly de-skin the tunnel when a gale is imminent. Pull hard on the tape, the clips will fly off and you can pull the polythene in to the gutter. Secondly it spreads the grip of the clip preventing damage to the polythene.
XL's Quick Release Tape is white so that it reduces the temperature on the polythene. Made from the same new PVC coated cloth as our Heavy Duty Truss Support tape it should last in excess of 10 years. Ideal for use with the Omega Spring Clips 125mm wide x 50m long Sold singly |
polythene repair tape
XL's Polythene Repair Tape uses an acrylic adhesive which bonds under pressure to the surface of the film and doesn't creep when the surface gets hot.
It is also made from clear polythene so it also contracts at the same rate as the cover in winter and is almost invisible on the repair.

ANTI HOT SPOT TAPE
If you have doors which run up and down or areas where the film chafes on struts then Anti Hot Spot Tape will protect the film in those areas and make it last considerably longer.
All XL Tapes are made exclusively for us. The NEW XL Anti Hot Spot Tape breaks new ground - what it doesn't do is let go of the polythene!
A lot of other tapes on the market today are made from PVC foam which can give off a chlorine gas which destroys the UV stabilisers in the film.
XL AHST is made from polythene foam so matter what happens it won't hurt your cover. We also use the latest solvent acrylic adhesives so that it won't creep around the tube when it gets hot and the shiny bit stays stuck on!
